Privacy Policy

The short version
MoneyToolKit doesn't require an account, doesn't store what you type into a calculator on our servers, and doesn't sell data — because we don't collect the kind of data that would be worth selling. Everything you enter into a calculator stays in your browser unless you explicitly choose to share a link.
What we don't collect
- No account or sign-up means no name, email, or password on file.
- No calculator inputs are sent to or stored on our servers — every calculation runs entirely in your browser.
- No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no ad networks.
What is stored locally, on your device
Your light/dark theme preference is saved using your browser's localStorage, so the site remembers your choice on your next visit. This stays on your device — it's never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data will reset it.
Shareable calculator links
When you use a calculator, your inputs are reflected in the page's URL so you can copy and share your exact scenario with someone else (a partner, a financial advisor, a friend). This means anyone with that link can see the numbers encoded in it — don't share a link if you'd rather keep those numbers private. We don't store these URLs or the values in them anywhere on our end.
Standard server logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and reliability purposes — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. This is standard infrastructure logging, not something we actively review, build profiles from, or share with third parties for marketing purposes.
Analytics
At the time of writing, MoneyToolKit does not use any analytics or visitor-tracking service. If that changes in the future, we'll update this policy to say exactly what we use and why, and we'll favor privacy-respecting tools that don't track you across other websites.
Third-party links
Some pages may link to outside resources or tools. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't control — check their own policies before sharing information there.
Children's privacy
MoneyToolKit is intended for general audiences, including students, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, since we don't collect personal information in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add an account system or analytics in the future — we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
